Are Berries the New Lifesavers?

Strawberries Blueberries Heart Attack
Strawberries? Blueberries? Does the thought of these two fruits make you salivate uncontrollably? According to "Strawberries And Blueberries Could Decrease Women's Heart Attack Risk: Study" in The Huffington Post, women now have a new reason to indulge themselves with berries! Studies show that during an experiment, women who ate the most strawberries were found to have a 32% lower heart attack risk, than those who were known to eat these vegetables once a month or not at all! Researchers have found that both strawberries and blueberries contain high levels of flavanoids which is responsible for preventing plaque buildup. Also, women who eat diets that include antioxidant-rich foods, could lower their chances of having heart disease. Henceforth, in 2012 a study was conducted which proved that females who possessed a diet with antioxidants, and who consumed approximately seven servings of fruits and vegetables a day, were less likely to have heart attacks during a ten year period.

People always new these berries were healthy, however not many people, including myself, knew that these berries lessen the risk of hear disease by such a significant amount. That is just truly remarkable.
